The verdict from Washington last week was swift and bipartisan: Michele Bachmann was out of line.

Accusing two prominent Muslims — State Department aide Huma Abedin and Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota — of being tied to the Muslim Brotherhood was a step too far, even for the conservative firebrand.

Bachmann and the other extremist politicians in office are living examples of the disintegration of our constitutional rights to free speech and religion! If it was up to these alleged public servants minorities would be prison camps like the Indians, women's rights would be limited and gays would be in mental health clinics being medicated! People who practice other religions would be deported or arrested and schools would ban all books that promotes thought! God help us cause no one else will!

I did read that the people interviewed here live in Isanti, that's like saying you live in banjoville, so I guess I'm not surprised. The reaction from her constituents is no surprise. Here in MN we all know that Stearns county and the rest of her district is the center of the universe of incest, alcoholism, spousal abuse, gay bashing, racism and generalized disgusting thinking and behavior. Up in the northern burbs she is actually quite mellow. The people who vote for her are all certifiably nuts and represent a collection of misfits and low life's. In some ways it's better they all seem to congregate in her district so we don't have them polluting too much of the rest of the state,

Sounds like Stearns County is the epitome of what the Texas Republican Party platform wants to accomplish with its disavowal of teaching kids critical thinking. They know that prohibiting thinking results in far more votes for their agenda.

Michele Bachmann is still losing friends fast. In fact, it's rare to see a Republican officeholder lose so much support so quickly from within the party.

Bachmann and a handful of right-wing colleagues recently launched a bizarre crusade, urging executive branch agencies to launch investigations to determine whether the Muslim Brotherhood has "infiltrated" the American government. Bachmann is specifically concerned about Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is Muslim.

Last week, John McCain condemned the offensive effort, and soon after, John Boehner characterized Bachmann's accusations as "pretty dangerous."

Solsktin - you are absolutely right! This woman is an overzealous fanatic and she needs to be removed from office. The poor woman she accused as being some muslim extremist is now getting death treats and Bachman has yet not issued a public apology and is probably hiding in the woman's bathroom until this all blows over. Wonder how Hillary Clinton is restraining herself with her aid being accused like this? Republicans seems to have the corner on the ridiculousness. Let's just hope that other wack job Romney doesn't make it to the White House - God help us all if he does.
