We also can't wait to get our hands on Passion Pit's new album and The Scribble Diary, an awesome twist on the traditional journal for artsy types. Honorable mention goes to the official music video release for Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City's summer hit, "Good Time" -- and Carly Rae's awesome tie-dyed denim shorts in the vid!

  • This Album

Gossamer, Passion Pit's highly anticipated follow-up to their 2009 mega-success Manners, drops this week and it's already getting rave reviews. Although the subject matter is dark -- the album tackles addiction and heartbreak -- the songs are still characteristically upbeat and dance-worthy. As NPR writes, "Each song positively glows."

  • This Fashion Moment

Three of our favorite style moments at the Teen Choice Awards belonged to Demi, who totally owned the pink carpet in a gladiator-style dress, and also looked awesome in two edgy ensembles when she went up to receive her awards. Major props to the host of the evening for her quick hair change from a blonde ponytail to long, blue dip-dyed waves!

Doodlers can let their imaginations run free with The Scribble Diary, a journal with 365 prompts for users to create a page of guided drawings each day for a year. Keep your notebooks clean this school year and save your visual thoughts for a super-artsy diary.

The latest and greatest social network, Nextdoor, wants to connect you to the people who are closest to you -- literally. The service aims to bring together neighbors online so that they can keep each other posted on community updates and events.

For her next film, Jennifer Lawrence is trading in the arena for a haunted hourse. In the suspenseful horror flick The House At The End Of The Street, Lawrence plays a girl who falls in love with her neighbor, whose house is cursed. Although it doesn't come out until September, the first TV commercial for the movie during the TCA's on Sunday got us super excited to see it in theaters!
