'Revolution' Preview During Olympics, 'Go On' And 'Animal Practice' Will Premiere As Well

All NBC Shows Will Be Available Early Online

"Revolution" is coming earlier than expected.

NBC has announced it will release a special six-minute tease of the new fall drama on Saturday, August 4 at approximately 10:54 p.m. ET following a swimming event that is expected to include Michael Phelps.

Then, an online preview for "Go On" and "Animal Practice" will be made available on many platforms immediately following their initial broadcasts beginning August 9 and 13, respectively. All other new NBC fall series can also be seen ahead of time. There will be a two-week digital sampling period in anticipation of the fall premieres.

Audiences can check out NBC's new fall shows on demand viewing and online through cable, satellite and telco providers; NBC.com; NBC Owned and affiliate station websites (should they choose to opt in); Hulu (including Hulu's online distribution partners); iTunes, Amazon and Xbox. Select shows will be available on the Hulu Plus subscription service as well, according to an NBC press release.

NBC is not the only network to launch their new shows before their premiere dates. Fox recently announced that "The Mindy Project" and "Ben and Kate" will premiere online ahead of their official onscreen premiere dates.
