Having the words "'it' label" pasted all over might cause some swimwear lines to buckle in their U.S. runway debut. Not Australia's Suboo.
Designer Sue Di Chio's cult fave sent out an array of easy but sophisticated pool-to-night options, from a drop-dead sheer lime sexy bustier dress to graphic black-and-white coverups to a cropped pant jumpsuit in a bright tropical print; a sheer pleated chiffon dress and long skirt were punched up with broad swaths of electric blue, deep melon, black, and turquoise.
Then there were flippy white pullover tanks and dresses, each a with an embroidered panel at the neck, and a haltered column of printed white silk artfully gathered with a lime silk belt that's perfectly built for boat to brunch.
But this is also about swimsuits, right? We loved the printed maillots with flattering black paneling.
