Mailman Indicted For Allegedly Sexually Assualting Children In His Postal Truck

A former mailman in Manchester, N.H., is facing a criminal trial after being accused of sexaully assaulting children in his postal truck.

Frank Saucier, 43, of Tyngsboro, Mass., has been indicted for six counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, a felony charge of indecent exposure, and well as two misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and a count of misdemeanor sexual assault, according to WMUR-TV.

Saucier was originally arrested in April after being accused of spanking a boy whom he let “play house” inside his mail truck. That resulted in a simple charge of assault, but further investigation found 10 other charges involving other children, ages 7 to 10.

Investigators say between September 2011 and February 2012, Saucier let several children “play house” inside the vehicle. In these games, Saucier would play the "dad" and sometimes pretend to be driving the parked vehicle, according to The Manchester Union-Leader.

Saucier allegedly spanked a 10-year-old boy during one of these "games," and parents in the Armory Street neighborhood became suspicious and contacted police in April.

Sgt. Craig Rousseau said Saucier was removed from the route after detectives informed the United States Postal Service that he was letting children inside the vehicle. He was arrested after the initial investigation discovered the alleged spanking incident, according to WBZ-TV.

Saucier is expected to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court sometime in August. It is not known whether Saucier has a lawyer, WBZ-TV reported.
