One of the perks of being an Olympic athlete (in addition to all the free condoms) is the possibility of a lucrative commercial contract with globally recognized companies, like Nike or Gatorade.

For some Olympians, though, those contracts fail to materialize. Then there are others who get the big deals but later have to shill for late night infomercials after their fortunes have been spent, their names have faded from the headlines and they realize there’s no practical application for Shot-Put.

These situations are unfortunate, but the silver lining is the entertainment the rest of us can derive from the hilariously bad and embarrassing commercials they have to make in order to survive, like the six in the video above.
