Kiss And Motley Crue At Cruzan Amphitheater In West Palm Beach (PHOTOS)

LOOK: Fire, Blood And A Metal Show

Rock legends KISS and Mötley Crüe hit the stage Friday night at West Palm Beach's Cruzan Amphitheatre in an amalgamation of smoke, blood, and -- of course -- tongues. (The two bands are in the midst of a 40-date North American summer tour, creatively called "The Tour.")

The Crüe opened the show with "Saints of Los Angeles," weaving through the crowd to the stage as bassist Nikki Sixx sprayed smoke over the audience. In customary leather threads, the band performed in a flurry of smoke, flashing lights and pyrotechnics.

Next, the band that has become iconic with their signature face paint, platform boots and all around odd costumes since 1973, was lowered onto the stage to "Detroit Rock City." Gene Simmons made sure to show off his freakishly long tongue and spit blood and flies at the crowd, in true KISS fashion. To round out the show, the band performed their classic "Rock and Roll All Night."
