Are you ready to celebrate The Onion Day, Chicago?

In honor of the satirical newspaper's relocation to the Windy City, Illinois Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon has declared an informal holiday in association with a shindig hosted by the corruption-fighting Better Government Association's Young Professionals Board.

The event, "The Onion LIVE: Corruption Isn't Funny," will be emceed by WGN's Larry Potash and Robin Baumgarten and will feature performances by The Onion Players plus Simon herself on the banjo. (What?! You didn't know about this?)

The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Paris Club, 59 W. Hubbard St.

HuffPost Chicago offered up pairs of tickets to the party to three lucky winners Monday. They have been notified. The event is sold out.
