• Darling Coffee

Find yourself way, way uptown? Have we got a cup of coffee and a baguette for you. Darling Coffee is Inwood's newest addition and the 20 baked-daily baguettes, along with great and pour-over Blue Bottle coffee are worth traveling for.

  • City Bakery

Tack toward the lighter side with City Bakery's new juices and you won't be sacrificing flavor. We're wild about the thick and smoothie-like grapefruit, avocado and vanilla concoction.

  • Perla

If you only have one bowl of pasta this summer--and we hope that's not the case--take yourself to Greenwich Village for Perla's spaghetti with rock shrimp, tomato and basil ($25). It's lush, light and redolent of summer tomatoes.

  • The Orchard

If you want the best in fruit, make a pilgrimage to The Orchard. This family-owned Midwood, Brooklyn store has been sourcing the finest in produce since 1957. Right now, the Snowcot white apricots and donut peaches are incredible.

  • Nicoletta

Chef Michael White has entered into the East Village pizza scene with his newest opening, Nicoletta, and it feels like the whole town is talking about it. See what all the fuss is about with a pie topped with knockout rosemary-salted pork cracklings, wild arugula and porchetta.
