Erica Wang, Todd English's Ex-Fiance Who Stole From Bergdorf-Goodman, Arrested For Stealing From Ralph Lauren Store

The former fiance of celebrity chef Todd English, who was scandalously jilted at the altar in 2009, was arrested last week for shoplifting at the Ralph Lauren store where she worked.

Erica Wang was caught pilfering nearly $6,000 in clothing last Wednesday, and then admitted to authorities to stealing another $46,000 in clothes over the course of the eight months while she was employed at the high-end designer store.

The New York Post reports this isn't Wang's first encounter with the law. Wang was also caught shoplifting from another high-end store-- the Bergdorf-Goodman store on Fifth Avenue-- in 2004.

Following the couple's doomed vows, English filed assault charges against Wang for occasionally beating him. In one instance, she reportedly hit him with his own watch, causing lacerations around his eye.

Following the assault, Wang took a deal to avoid jail time. The deal required her to take anger management classes and do community service.
