"Gigolos" is heading back to Showtime. The reality series about male escorts will return for its third season on Thurs., Aug. 30 at 10 p.m. ET.
Veteran cast members Nick, Vin, Brace and Steven will return, but not Jimmy. In early 2012, Jimmy got in trouble with the law for allegedly getting in an altercation with his girlfriend. He was arrested on charges of felony domestic abuse. Jimmy will be replaced by "raven-haired hunk" newcomer Ash, according to Showtime.
In May 2012, executive producer Richard Grieco (yes, the "21 Jump Street" actor) told TV Guide Magazine Jimmy was being phased out.
"The show is called 'Gigolos,' not 'The Jimmy Show,'" Grieco said. "Jimmy got off on a tangent in his personal life, and we don't need that."
Another possible change for Season 3? Having the "Gigolos" stars entertain male clients. "We have to," he said. "We're going to entertain all avenues next season."
