Debbie Reynolds' Statement Skirt Is Coming Up Roses (PHOTO)

Debbie Reynolds Is Coming Up Roses

Last year, Debbie Reynolds auctioned off her massive collection of Hollywood memorabilia, including Marilyn Monroe's iconic white dress, Judy Garland's ruby slippers, and her on-again, off-again best friend Elizabeth Taylor's "Cleopatra" garb. While we're sure she was sad to see over 3,500 costumes go, the "Singin' in The Rain" actress had plenty of her own statement pieces.

The proof is in this 1957 photo. Reynolds, the ex-wife of singer Eddie Fisher and mother of "Star Wars" beauty Carrie Fisher, is captured sitting in a field while dressed in a long, floral maxi skirt, white blouse and strappy sandals. Would you wear a design this bold?

Debbie Reynolds' iconic collection also included Charlie Chaplin's bowler hat. Read about it here.
