August 5 marks the 50th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe's untimely death. The actress and singer, who is buried at the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles, died in 1962 at age 36.

The blond bombshell is still idolized today for her timeless beauty and style. If you're the kind of bride who believes the trip down the aisle is just as special (if not more so!) as a trip down the red carpet, click through the slideshow to check out some Marilyn-inspired wedding gowns for your Big Day.
