Kate Middleton, Other Royals Hit The Olympics Day 7 Events (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Royals Take Time Off From Royal-ing To Watch The Olympics

The big story in Royal Land this week was Kate and William, cuddling at the Olympics, blah blah blah. But guess what: some other royals were there too!

Europe's royal families flocked to the Olympics day 7 events on Friday, both because it makes for a fun day outing and because, we're guessing, it's easier to get tickets to events when you have an endless number of connections and live in various palaces.

Princess Beatrice and her long-time boyfriend Dave Clark scoped out today's equestrian event, although they were forced to duck under a shared umbrella when the rain struck. Much less lucky were fellow attendees Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, Princess Maxima of the Netherlands, Princess Alexia of the Netherlands and Willem-Alexander, Prince of Orange, who were forced to don ponchos. Princess Maxima, one of our faves, and more Dutch royals also bopped into London for a tour of Olympic village.

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Sophie Rhys-Jones, Countess of Wessex, took in the track cycling event on Friday. Princess Anne was also there and of course, took in her daughter Zara Phillips' equestrian event earlier this week.

And of course, Kate and William didn't stay home and visited the swim finals, where Kate looked radiant in a polka dotted top and a $99 red blazer from Zara.
