In his Emmy-nominated FX comedy, Louis C.K. plays a slightly fictionalized version of himself: a recently-divorced, overweight middle-aged comedian who tries (and usually fails, hilariously) to find happiness in a world he doesn't quite understand.
The show specializes in cringe-worthy awkwardness, particularly in Louie's dating life.
