The "Haunted Collector" (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on Syfy) and his team headed to a haunted tavern in Mississippi. Legend has it that one of the Harp brothers -- among the earliest-recorded serial killers -- killed a baby in that tavern by smashing its head against the wall.
Now, patrons claim they can sometimes hear the baby crying. With their EVP equipment recording, the team was able to hear the cries as well. They theorized it was coming from up above.
They then got a strange thermal reading from upstairs. Despite it being cold, something was registering very hot. When they went up to investigate, they found a shiny rattle they said must be from the 1700s.
The team removed the item and the tavern has reported a decrease in paranormal activity.
What will they find next on "Haunted Collector," Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.
