'Paranormal Witness': Ghost Attacks, Tries To Hang Paranormal Investigator (VIDEO)

Ghost Attack On 'Paranormal Witness' Premiere

A spooky story of an aggressive haunting launched the new season of "Paranormal Witness" (Wed., 10 p.m. ET on Syfy). It was the story of Jackie Hernandez and the seemingly nice little bungalow in California she and her children moved into in the late 1980s.

Only, it wasn't a nice little bungalow at all. Jackie had several encounters with the spirit of an old man haunting the place. At one point, she even saw his ghost sitting on her son's bed. At one point, Jackie said the ghost held her down and she genuinely feared for her life.

She called in a paranormal psychologist and he and his team had an even more terrifying encounter. They approached the attic, where Jackie often heard footsteps. Once inside, one of the men was physically thrown across the attic. A photograph taken mere moments later showed him with his head bent against the ceiling and a noose around his neck.

"There’s no way he could have done this himself," a fellow team member said. "I mean, it happened just like that."

Jackie wisely moved out, and reportedly no one who has rented that house has stayed for more than a few months since.

"Paranormal Witness" continues Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Syfy.
