Cody Simpson's swoon-worthy voice, dapper suits and millions of fans (including over 3 million on Twitter) can make it easy to forget that the Aussie singer is only 15 years old. He's not even of legal age to drive, but the rising star has already mixed up the perfect song to blast in your car with the windows down. His new single, "Wish You Were Here," is a dance-worthy pop track featuring a solo by energetic rapper Becky G.
The video tells the story of Cody missing someone special. The young celeb, who is often on the road, promises to come home soon. He sings, "Music is better / And lights are brighter when you are near / Am I make it making it clear?"
After hinting at the new single for weeks on Twitter, Simpson dropped the track on YouTube on Tuesday, and it's gathered over 200,000 views since then. "Wish You Were Here" is the first single from his upcoming album Paradise, scheduled for release on October 2.
Simpson is currently on tour with Big Time Rush until September 18.
