Sitting on the judges panel for NBC's "Fashion Star," Nicole Richie wasn't just doling out advice to contestants -- she was getting a fashion education herself. The designer took the lessons she learned while filming the show and channeled them into her new Nicole Richie for Impulse line, which is set to hit 100 Macy's stores this fall.
The Nicole Richie for Impulse ad campaign, shot by Camilla Akrans, launched today, giving everyone a sneak peek at the sleek, boho-inflected pieces Richie created for the department store. There's leather with chiffon and lace, contrasting prints and lots of the understated, loose-fitting layers Richie has become known for -- all created with insights from real Macy's buyers, whom Richie encountered on "Fashion Star," in mind.
