For the second time this season, a contestant has quit "Project Runway" (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime). At least this time the designer didn't run away in the middle of the night without a word to anyone, as Andrea did. Kooan had plenty to say, in a bizarre speech to the other contenders.
"I know I’m, like, funky and a little weird person," he opened. Ultimately, he was just telling them that this wasn't for him, and he wanted "more freedom" to work on his fashion in his own way. In other words, without the structure and challenges the show puts on him.
It begs the question of what Kooan thought he was auditioning for when he signed on to be a part of "Project Runway."
But the competition must go on, and it did. Buffi, Fabio and Raul failed to impress with their woman-on-the-go designs and Buffi was sent packing, where she vowed to be even tackier!
Keep up with the drama of "Project Runway" every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
