Paul Ryan Style: An Introduction To Mitt Romney's Running Mate & His Snazzy Ties (PHOTOS)

The name on everybody's lips is Paul Ryan. And while most people are discussing his political views, we're also interested in what he's wearing.

Surprisingly, Mitt Romney's newly-announced running mate has quite a snazzy collection of ties. The 42-year-old has spent the better part of his political career brightening up his days in brightly-colored ties -- not a bad way to liven up conservative politics, eh?

Even though we're focusing on his hard-to-miss ties, we do have to give honorable mention to Paul Ryan's epic cowlick (which has already sparked much debate on Twitter, obvi). But for now, here's an introduction to the man and his pastel ties.

In his ideal anarchic world he would have no ties, and would be lucky to have clean skins to wear; not to mention that soap and shampoo would be all but nonexistent.  He may look pretty and speak with more eloquence than his running mate or GW, but he doesn't seem to give deep thought as to the long-term effects of his proposed policies.

Fantastic ties Paul! I really admire that you have not gotten into the rut of most pols wearing only blue or red. Beautiful suits in a variety of fabrics. But who the heck is your tailor Paul? Your suits appear to be at least two sizes too big. For all the money you must be spending on clothes, please find someone who knows how to fit you. A man of your build should be able to really rock a suit.

This is the man that wants to give the rich huge tax breaks while cutting funds for the feeding of poor children and you are worried about his ties. Even the Catholic bishops have said his budget is not moral. Who cares what his ties look like. I prefer Christian charity.

Obama had 4 years to get the job done and the country went backwards, if I got a new job and did not make a difference in 60 days i would have been canned! It's time for a change and the time for change is now before this country gets so fed up we end in our own revolution. Just look at Obamas bail out for home owners and look at how secure your own job is. You must realize a change is needed, not just lip service.

I love this guy. He is a great pick for VP. He is a strong, authoritative man who doesn't look like he whines and complains alot like the thin skinned Obama. Ryan is an intelligent man who likes to find solutions to big government problems that are killing the economy of the country. All this administration does is whine, complain and throw around dirty campaign ads. Romney and Ryan are the guys to get the job done. They look great and charismatic together.

How can even possibly give mention to this insane elitist Republican 1% er? He would hang every middle-class American, every Medicare and Medicaid citzen and every humanist by them if he could. He's a dreadful person and the less spoken, the less admired, the better off everyone will be. Such ties under such a smug, snide face loses any potential charm... His ties may be bright but he isnt. I see them more as vulgar and loud, like he is.

Obama gutted Medicare of 60 billion to fund Obamacare. Ryan is a midwestern guy who sleeps in his office.. He has worked at any number of jobs since he was 16. As to the smug and snide...have you actually looked at Obama in the last 3 years ? Perhaps posting Before happy hour as opposed to After, would be a wise move.

In all seriousness, I think these ties are fine. I guess I thought I'd see some mis-matched patterned ones or something--very on-trend ties, maybe. Just because these are colored, I don't feel like they are inappropriate. Back to the issues for me.
