Scott Walker: Paul Ryan VP Pick 'Is A Game Changer' (VIDEO)

Scott Walker Weighs In On Mitt's Pick

With the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan presidential ticket set for November, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) appears to be sold on that tandem.

In a Sunday interview with NBC's "Meet The Press," Walker raved about Romney's decision to team with Ryan, calling the Wisconsin congressman a "unique" choice.

"I think this is a game changer," Walker said. "And I think it shows just out courageous Mitt Romney is. Not just with this choice, but how courageous he's willing to be to take on our fiscal and economic crises here in America."

Less than three weeks ago, Walker hit Romney's campaign for displaying too much "caution." He urged the presumptive GOP nominee to be more aggressive not just against President Barack Obama, but toward the policies at play.

"I think the mistake that they’ve made is the feeling like it can just be a referendum on the president," Walker said on July 25's edition of MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "It's certainly a part of it for any incumbent: it's got to be a referendum on, 'Do you like or dislike, not just the president, but his policies?' But there’s got to be something more. People don't just vote somebody out -- they've got to vote somebody in."

After surviving a recall election in early June, Walker speaks from a unique base of experience. Among his most ardent supporters during his campaign effort was Romney, who called him an "excellent governor." Once Walker secured his victory, Romney labeled the win as one that would "echo beyond the borders of Wisconsin."
