Amy Schumer Roasts Roseanne, Announces One-Hour Special & Gets An Apology From Steve-O (VIDEO)

Amy Schumer was the first comedian to get a crack at Roseanne on Sunday's Comedy Central Roast, but before she went after the famous television mom (and presidential candidate) she had a message for Roastmaster Jane Lynch:

"Eat a dick, Jane... Try it."

To be fair, Lynch had just introduced Schumer by saying, "let's get her out of the way," so she had it coming.

Since she's a relative newcomer to roasting — and a young, attractive woman — the majority of jokes lobbed at Schumer were of the who are you and who did you blow to get here ilk. But the 31-year-old comedian proved that she could both take the heat and deliver it on last year's Roast Of Charlie Sheen. She also proved that she could weather the attacks of angry twitter users, after her infamous Steve-O joke:

"I'm sorry for the loss of your friend Ryan Dunn. I know you were thinking, 'It could have been me,' and I know we were all thinking 'Why wasn't it?'"

The joke sparked outrage amongst Jackass fans who felt it was too soon, even at a roast. Some took it upon themselves to send Schumer death threats, which she joked about on the red carpet of the Roseanne Roast:

Schumer's unapologetic edge is serving her well. Her first hour-long special, Mostly Sex Stuff, is premiering on Comedy Central on August 18, and she is currently developing a series for the network.

And for those who wonder if she and Steve-O are cool, not to worry. Recently on Doug Benson's Doug Loves Movies podcast, Schumer explained that the Jackass star had actually reached out to her recently to apologize for not having her back during the fallout after the Sheen Roast.
