The event seemed like something Vogue would host, at least based on this photo taken by one of LA's favorite designers, Silverlake-based Clare Vivier.
In it, Gwen looks like the rock star that she is, sporting a hot pink jumpsuit and razor-sharp stilettos. The FLOTUS rocks the DC meets LA vibe in a flattering, summer chic black dress and flat sandals. The two style powerhouses certainly knew how to dress well for the 100-degree LA heat.
