It's probably always a good time to be James Cameron -- he's the king of the world and all -- but this week it's really good to be Cameron. The director's two biggest films -- and the two biggest moneymakers of all time -- will soon be available in places they've never been before: Your 3D television and Myanmar.

Twentieth Century Fox announced on Tuesday that "Avatar" will be available on Blu-ray 3D beginning around the world on Oct. 15 with a North American bow set for Oct. 16. Cameron's $2.7 billion global blockbuster was previously only available on Blu-ray 3D with purchase of Panasonic Blu-ray players.

“3D television is the future of home entertainment,” Cameron said. "I'm a huge proponent of the technology and very pleased that 'Avatar' can be viewed in the living room the way it is meant to be seen."

Cameron, who has said he's in the "Avatar" business, is busy prepping sequels to "Avatar," which might finally arrive in theaters around 2015.

Meanwhile, in other groundbreaking news, according to TheWrap, Cameron's 3D re-release of "Titanic" will become the first film in decades to screen in Myanmar. The 3D version of "Titanic" has pushed the film's global tally to over $2.1 billion since release earlier this year.
