Let's face it: models don't exactly have a reputation for being the sharpest crayons in the box. Instead, they're confined to catwalking in sparkly dresses or looking sexy on magazine covers.

But Kate Moss, one of the most famous supermodels in the biz, might be out to change that -- with some genius-worthy party talk.

The 39-year-old supermodel was recently at the same party as former pop star and particle physics professor Brian Cox, who reportedly told the Daily Mail's Richard Kay that he and Kate had a chat.

What in the world would these two talk about? Believe it or not: she blinded him with science.

"Kate was asking me some extraordinarily detailed questions about the universe. She really knows her stuff," Cox said. "She also had some questions from her daughter Lila Grace which were pretty complicated. I was impressed."

Moss' 9-year-old daughter Lila Grace is apparently a devout fan of BBC's "Wonders Of The Universe," on which Cox appears. At least now we know what Kate and fellow smarty-pants Cindy Crawford will talk about at their next fete.

Pondering the cosmos at cocktail parties, seducing people out of veganism... it's time we face facts, world: Kate Moss is more clever than you'd think.
