WATCH: Brutal Beating Caught On Tape Outside Mission Terrace Home

A local man was attacked and brutally beaten while sitting in his car outside his Mission Terrace home on Monday, and the entire incident was caught on video.

The victim, identified only as 35-year-old Antonio, was arriving home from work when the suspect approached him at the driver's window asking for directions.

The attacker suddenly punched Antonio in the face and then continued to beat him, moving to the passenger side of the car when Antonio tried to defend himself. Eventually the attacker dragged Antonio into the street to continue the onslaught.

The video shows a man in dark clothing repeatedly punching the victim while rummaging through his pockets and eventually stealing his wallet, which contained $150 and a paycheck.

A neighbor across the street was able to catch the entire incident on her cellphone.

"When he locked the door or pull up the window, the guy yanked him from the shirt and started socking him," a neighbor who called 911 told Yahoo News. "I was shocked. I was scared."

Antonio received seven stitches on his forehead and suffered a swollen cheek as well as a fractured nose. The beating, however, left him more worried for his family.

"I have two sons and my wife," Antonio told KTVU. "[I] never, never had a lot of problems. I lived in SF for 18 years."
