Taz Arnold Has Worked With Kanye West And Has The Style Chops To Prove It (VIDEO)

Inside The Closet Of Kanye West's Style Guru

Music producer, designer and bona-fide style guru, Taz Arnold does it all (and appears to have it all). Inspired from a young age by bohemian parents -- his mother still makes her own clothes and his father has been interested in fashion since the early ‘60s -- it’s no surprise that Arnold has developed his own quirky and attention-grabbing style. Lucky for us, he recently invited Stylelist Blogger Network members Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum of StyleLikeU into his home to check out his closet chock-full of designer duds.

The California native studied at Santa Monica College where he began mixing his love of both music and fashion. Since then he has created Sa-Ra, a hip-hop production group and performing act, started his own line, TI$A (Taz Is So Arnold) which sells graphic tees, baseball hats and hoodies, and worked with the likes of Kanye West, Iggy Pop and Herbie Hancock. If his impressive resume doesn't convince you that he knows what he's doing, then his ability to mix Chanel and gold teeth will.

Arnold is the first to admit that he likes exclusivity and has a taste for the finer things in life, but goes on to say that “guys only have a few things to speak with, they don’t have a lot of options.” With that in mind, it makes sense that he takes every opportunity to express himself, whether it's through a patterned knee sock or bright Versace sunglasses.

Taz's keen eye and trained ear are what brought him into the spotlight, but it's his focus and hunger to create that is going to keep him there.
