'America's Got Talent': Gabby Douglas Co-Hosts The Results Show With Nick Cannon (VIDEO)

Gabby Douglas Co-Hosts 'America's Got Talent'

With the overwhelming lack of enthusiasm for the YouTube contenders this season on "America's Got Talent" (Wed., 8 p.m. ET on NBC), it was a good thing the network had two-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas on hand to liven things up.

Douglas took home both the individual and team gold in gymnastics, but conquering her sport isn't enough for the young star. The 16-year old has mentioned aspirations of being an actor, so Nick Cannon offered to let her take over his job hosting "AGT."

Without missing a beat, Douglas did just that. It was a fun little spot, and nice to see Douglas looking relaxed now that the intensity of the London games is behind her.

But the intensity is just beginning for the four acts that made it through to the next round. The three acts making it through based on viewer votes were Bria Kelly, The Magic of Puck, and Academy of Villains. The judges then selected Clint Carvalho and His Extreme Parrots to move on.

Next week, it's a second chance for some contestants as the Wild Card Round begins, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
