There was some tension in the air on "The Tonight Show" (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC). Kristen Bell was on the show, and gave her layman's take on the Olympics, which didn't seem to sit too well with swimmer Ryan Locthe, who came out next.
"Some of that stuff does not look that difficult to me," Bell joked. "I’m like, ‘I could do that. I know I could do it.’” In her defense, some of the athletes are so good in their sports, they make it look deceptively easy.
One of those may well be swimmer Ryan Lochte, who was the next guest on the show. He seemed, according to some viewers on Twitter, a little annoyed with Bell. Especially after he reiterated his stance that he believes he could do well on "Dancing With the Stars."
"Do you have any idea how much training it takes to be on Dancing With the Stars,' Ryan?" Bell asked him. He countered, "Do you know how much training you have to do to swim?"
