Piper Perabo Tells 'Late Night' She Wishes 'Covert Affairs' Would Film In A City Sewer System (VIDEO)

Piper Perabo Wants 'Covert Affairs' To Film In Sewers

During the filming of "Covert Affairs" over three seasons, series star Piper Perabo has been in some beautiful and exotic locations. But somehow she hasn't yet been able to fulfill one of her fantasies. And it's a bit of a strange one. Jimmy Fallon was dumbfounded as she described it on "Late Night" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC).

"I was asking if I could do an underwater chase scene into a sewer," Perabo said excitedly. "Wouldn’t that be cool? Like, you know how cities have those big, cool sewers?"

Fallon's expression made it clear he knew exactly what she was talking about, and it most certainly would not be cool. Perabo does know what's running through those sewers, right? And it's a lot more disgusting than giant rats or crocodiles.

"Why don’t you just want to do the episode from Hawaii where, like, you’re a spy who tans a lot?" Fallon suggested. You know, the kind of fantasy shooting location most people would have.

"Covert Affairs" continues to not feature sewer fight sequences on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA. Catch Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night," weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
