Fashion friendships tend to fizzle just as quickly as the latest trends, so we're never too surprised when notable style figures part ways. The latest former besties to be the subject of break-up buzz? Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes.

This year Victoria's beloved clothing line will be showing on September 9, the very same day as Katie's Holmes & Yang's New York Fashion Week runway debut. There's no word on whether or not they'll have the same time slot, but we can imagine that this does create a bit of tension between the two friends (frenemies?). We hope this won't stop them from giving each other fashion advice...

While we're sure there's nothing but esteem between the celebrity designers, it's funny to think that the two could possible be duking it out come September. Posh has already amassed quite the celebrity following for her line, so we suspect that she's probably slightly higher on the fashion industry's list. Plus, there's always the possibility that David Beckham will show up again. But Katie's line has definitely gotten positive reviews as of late (not to mention, her personal life is certainly able to pique people's interests).

And since Katie has seemed to up her fashion ante since her divorce, do you think her very first fashion week show will have a better guest list than Victoria's well-established event? Will Suri attend and give Harper Beckham a run for her money? Will Tom attend? We'll just have to wait and see who actually turns up, but which show would you rather see?
