Oh, to have been on this Lower East Side train last Tuesday, when straphangers were treated to Stay Human Band's rousing rendition of "Empire State of Mind."

The group -- who've boisterously busked on trains before-- were on their way to a gig at Rockwood Music Hall, where they played a mix of pop songs and jazz standards.

This subway performance truly looks like one of those beautiful only-in-New-York moments for everyone involved, and reminds us of last week's spontaneous "Bohemian Rhapsody" sing-along aboard the L train.
