President Barack Obama was snapped erroneously spelling out “Ohio” during a campaign appearance at Ohio State University on Tuesday.

The photo was tweeted by Christopher Maloney, Romney’s Ohio communications director, on Wednesday:

Maloney told The Hill the photo is authentic and was passed along to the Romney campaign by a student who attended the event. Another photo shows the president correctly spelling out "Ohio."
