Katie Couric Is Exhausted From Promoting 'Katie,' Her New Syndicated Talk Show (VIDEO)

Katie Couric Exhausted From Promoting New Talk Show

Monday, September 10th is going to be a huge day of change in the world of daytime TV. Katie Couric continued her long promotional tour for her upcoming talk show, which hits that day by appearing on "The Tonight Show" (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC). But she's not alone.

Along with all the existing shows, Couric will be facing off against three other major stars who are premiering their own syndicated talk shows on the same day. But Jeff Probst, Steve Harvey and Ricki Lake don't have her name-brand cache, or a catchy theme song written and performed by Sheryl Crow.

Couric promises that her show will feature celebrities "who have something to say," according to the Seattle Times. But, true to her news roots, she will also deal in real world issues that affect peoples' lives, like dealing with teenagers, relationships and even caring for older parents.

"Katie" premieres in syndication on Monday, September 10. "The Tonight Show" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
