Robert Pattinson may be in the middle of a very public breakup after his girlfriend of four years cheated on him, but he's not having a pity party.
The 26-year-old actor was in good spirits during his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday night. The "Twilight" star was all giggles during the entire interview and there wasn't the slightest mention of Kristen Stewart, or the fact that she publicly admitted to cheating on him with her "Snow White and the Huntsmen" director, Rupert Sanders.
Kimmel didn't bother to try to get Pattinson to talk about his personal life, but he did ask the actor about his current living situation, as Pattinson had mentioned he was "homeless" the last time he appeared on the show.
"I still am," joked Pattinson, who has a home, though it's not anywhere he wants to be right now. After Stewart issued her public apology, Pattinson packed his bags and left the couple's shared Los Feliz home. Before his media blitz in New York City promoting his new film "Cosmopolis," the actor was reportedly staying at his pal Reese Witherspoon's house in Ojai, Calif.
When asked if he just lives out of hotels, Pattinson joked that he just "rented this archway and I just live behind it. In one of those trash cans." The actor was joking but his story doesn't seem that far off from his frugal tendencies. "I buy everything off Craigslist," he said, adding that he recently trekked out to Ryan Atwood's hometown of Chino Hills, Calif., to buy a car for $2,500.
Pattinson was particularly charming in his interview and even revealed that he recently discovered the art of "dogging" -- a Los Angeles game where men sit in parked cars and cruise for potential sexual partners.
"I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like, 'Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?' And I'm going there everyday kinda thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid," he explained.
Pattinson seems to be dealing well after the cheating scandal and has been keeping himself busy with promotional obligations, but Stewart is reportedly still reeling from what transpired after the scandal broke. Sources told Us Weekly, the 22-year-old actress "isn't sleeping and she stays up all night crying. She's close to a total meltdown."
