'Anger Management' Finale: Charlie And Kate Finally Admit They Have Feelings For One Another (VIDEO)

'Anger Management' Finale: Charlie And Kate Move A Tiny Step Closer

Fans just saw the last episode of "Anger Management" (Thu., 9:30 p.m. ET on FX) for this short first season. But will it be the last they see of Charlie Sheen as a therapist, or are there 90 more episodes on their way? FX is expected to make that decision sooner rather than later.

In the season finale, Charlie and Kate finally started to define whatever it is they're doing with one another. Not with any specific terms, but with compromises that included indicators that they may have genuine feelings for one another. For Charlie, this means seeing the occasional movie together. For Kate, it's about kissing before they move on to the sex stuff.

It makes sense for the show to develop their relationship in tiny increments like this. Even if Charlie and Kate are meant to be together by the end of the story, if the series gets picked up, that's 90 episodes away.

There's a lot of ground to cover from here to that hypothetical end point, so there's nothing wrong with a slow simmer.
