Apparently, Bill Clinton goes to the set of "30 Rock" just to hang out.

In an interview with Zap2It, "30 Rock" guest star Margaret Cho said the former president was on set for the Season 6 finale, watching filming of the wedding scene between Jack (Alec Baldwin) and Avery (Elizabeth Banks).

"The thing about '30 Rock' too is that there is such an element of high-profile guest stars and just people around," Cho told Zap2It about working on "30 Rock." "Like the day that they shot the scenes in that wedding, Bill Clinton was just there, and not on camera -- just hanging out. So he wanted to visit and be part of it but not actually be on camera. So you know you have a great deal of high-profile people kind of walking around that set."

Clinton has been a sought after guest star for series star and creator Tina Fey. Prior to the show's 100th episode, Fey reportedly reached out to Clinton's camp to invite him to appear on the series.

"The request was made and immediately denied without asking him," a Clinton rep said.

"30 Rock" is no stranger to political guest stars. Clinton's vice president Al Gore visited the show twice and Condoleezza Rice has also made a guest appearance.

"30 Rock" returns for its final season on Thurs., Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
