How does one even begin to describe Pee-Wee Herman? Paul Reubens' most famous creation has been a fixture in American pop culture for about 30 years now, and he's remained one of the most original and unique figures throughout that entire time.
Today is Reubens' 60th birthday, which means he's spent over half of his life entertaining us in that gray suit. It doesn't look like he's going anywhere soon: He had a successful comeback with a Broadway adaptation of Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and is currently developing a new Pee-Wee movie with Judd Apatow.
