'Strange Sex': Women Can Only Orgasm Asleep

While it's not unheard of for a woman to say she can't achieve an orgasm during sex with her partner, Carrie Ann put a new twist on that problem on "Strange Sex" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on TLC). While she says she enjoys sex with her husband, and has had five children with him, she's never achieved an orgasm from the experience. But she has had orgasms. In her sleep.

After asking one of her friends to describe what an orgasm felt like, Carrie Ann realized that this wasn't something she'd never experienced. She'd just never experienced it while awake. Bizarrely enough, she has had them while sleeping ... and not during sex dreams, either.

She went to a hypnotherapist, who told her that she deserved orgasms before trying to get Carrie Ann to shift her orgasms from her sleeping state to her waking state.

In the end, Carrie Ann reported that she has been able to have an orgasm through sex with her husband, thanks to seeing the hypnotherapist.

"Strange Sex" explores new stories every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
