Carly Rae Jepsen is 26, a fact which just blew at least one of our minds here at HuffPost Style. Given her bubblegum pop hits and her squeaky-clean appearance, the pop star comes off more as a perky teenager than someone the same age as Lady Gaga.
But Jepsen might be trying to blow past her youthful image, starting by dipping a toe into the world of couture. The Canadian "Call Me Maybe" singer poses for Canada's Fashion magazine in a more sexed-up outfit than we've ever witnessed her in. Rocking a snake print Alexander McQueen dress and Christian Louboutin leopard print heels (AMAZING), Jepsen sports her trademark bangs and long flowing brunette hair.
Inside, the singer dons more adventurous threads, like a dress made solely out of feathers. She even makes a fashion metaphor to describe her new album, Kiss, out in September:
"My new songs are like clothes done by Versace or Moschino," she says. "My music is bejeweled, it’s colorful, it’s romantic, it shines.”
Er.... okay.
