Dari Lallou, Back Up Vocalist For Lou Reed, Emulates Twiggy (PHOTO)

Dari Lallou was a model/actress throughout the 1960's until the early 1990's. She starred in films like "Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You" written by Woody Allen and worked alongside A-listers like Nicollette Sheridan in TV movies. Lallou also had her hand in music, as a vocalist in the UK group "Thunderthighs" and sang the vocals for "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed. Not only did she catch the attention of industry heavy hitters for her pipes, but she also had a noteworthy sense of style that was attuned with the fashion icons of the 1960's (think short dresses and heavy eyeliner).

This 1967 photo shows Lallou standing next to a Twiggy poster in an almost identical outfit. Her striped dress is very of the times but can still be easily translated into a modern look. We love her bowler hat and how she mixed patterned tights with a patterned dress.
