'Big Brother' Live Eviction: Dan's Master Plan Comes To Its Inevitable Conclusion (VIDEO)

'Big Brother' Live Eviction: Did Dan's Plan Work?

The first part of Dan's master plan to save himself played out in yesterday's episode, blowing away critics and fans alike, with some claiming he may be the best to have ever played "Big Brother." But there was one more piece to fall into place for his plan to work. He needed Britney to get voted out instead of his ally, Danielle.

Thursday night, the final piece of the puzzle fell into place, and Dan's place in "Big Brother" history may well have been cemented. There's still a lot of game to play, so he'll have his work cut out for him. During the broadcast, he admitted even he wasn't sure he could ever top the performance that pulled him from the block this week.

The Hollywood Reporter seems to have faith in Dan, though, writing that he "can manipulate his way out of any situation."

The next HOH competition was an endurance one, meaning people had to tune in to the live feeds to find out who won. That said, both Joe and Jenn fell from the spinning ropes before the hour was up, so it looked like this might be a relatively short one.

Keep up with all the action on "Big Brother," Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
