Jon Stewart Mocks Inaccuracies In Paul Ryan's VP Acceptance Speech (VIDEO)

Stewart: 'At This Point In The Speech, I'd Settle ForTruth'

Ever since he was named Mitt Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan's fans have been touting him as a hard-hitting guy who isn't afraid to tell the truth, so you'd think that his acceptance speech as an official Vice Presidential nominee at this week's Republican National Convention would be full of zingers.

Unfortunately, though, Ryan went more "motivational poster" than "kick butts, take names," and on Thursday night's "Daily Show,' Jon Stewart couldn't help but be disappointed.

"Is that your speech?" Stewart joked. "You're the policy expert! What a disappointment. 'Ladies and gentlemen, Aretha Franklin's gonna come out and knit for you.' I mean, come on."

But it wasn't just the vagueness that got Stewart down. Ryan's creative fact presentation is what really sealed the deal on his disappointment.
