Ellen Barkin Is Mad At Jimmy Fallon About Twitter Snub

Ellen Barkin stopped by "Late Night" with the intention of promoting her new NBC sitcom, "The New Normal," premiering Monday night at 10:30 p.m. ET, with its second episode airing in its usual time slot, Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. ET. The pilot originally got a stealth premiere during NBC's Olympics coverage.

But she kept getting distracted from talking about the show by her lingering grudge against Jimmy Fallon. She insisted that he cheated during a game they played the last time she was on. And, apparently, Fallon reneged on a promise he'd made to get her an iPod.

To make matters worse, Fallon didn't respond to her on Twitter. "You never answered me back. Are you afraid of me on Twitter?” she asked.

Fallon had no idea what she was talking about. She apparently asked how to get followers and got advice from all sorts of celebrities, but she didn't get any help from Fallon.

Catch Ellen Barkin on "The New Normal," Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBC. "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
