Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. may have some more cash to count.

The boxer who was recently released from prison tweeted that he made a $200,000 bet on the second half of the NFL season-opener between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants on Wednesday night. Along with the message, he included an Instagram photo of his paper gambling stub.

And he won. Dallas outscored New York, 17-14 in the second half en route to a 24-17 win.

The rumor Mayweather was referring to is reports over the weekend that claimed he had wagered $2.9 million in Las Vegas on Michigan covering the 14-point spread against Alabama. But that was said to be just a rumor.

On Wednesday night, Tony Romo added two of his three touchdown passes in the second half, leading the Cowboys to a 24-17 victory over their division rivals and seemingly giving Mayweather another payday.

Based on the wagers that Mayweather decides to tweet about, his nickname really does fit.
