'America's Got Talent': Last Three Acts Move Into Finals

They laid it all on the line, but for two competing acts on this week's semi-finals results show, their fate would come down to the judges. "America's Got Talent" certainly put Sharon Osbourne in a position she didn't want to be in once those votes were revealed.

Two acts made it straight through based on America's votes. No one on the panel was arguing about Olate Dogs and dance troupe The Untouchables moving ahead. That left the judges to choose between the two acts with the next-highest voting totals. This week it was David Garibaldi and His CMYK's alongside Lightwire Theater.

CarterMatt worried that Lightwire wasn't bringing enough uniqueness to the table, after past contestants Team iLuminate and Defying Gravity. Osbourne must have loved it, though. She said it was a travesty that these two groups were in the bottom, and then chose Lightwire to advance.

But she was overruled by Howie Mandel and Howard Stern. So Garibaldi's dance art moves on to a finals that doesn't have a singer in the bunch! This week's finalists join sand artist Joe Castillo, comedian Tom Cotter and homemade-instrument musician William Close in an eclectic finals indeed.

Tune in for the performances next Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET and the final results on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
