A brand new season of New York Fashion Week is upon us, bringing new trends, new models and new celeb sightings.

Yet the start of a new season also makes us nostalgic for Fashion Weeks past -- in particular, the era when The Supermodels ruled the runway: Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell... you know who we're talking about. I was just a kid when Christy Turlington came out. The most beautiful women, ever to be photographed, outside of a young Brooke Shields, whom I learned of later on. Both are educated, well dressed, and represent good taste. Two loveley ladies.
