Priorities USA Action released a new ad Saturday attacking Mitt Romney for his tax plan.
The ad, called "We The People," claims Romney's plan involves "tearing down the middle class." It features findings from recent study by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, which suggested Romney's plan would primarily boost the income of the wealthiest taxpayers.
The 30-second spot will run on television and online in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin, according to a release from Priorities USA.
This isn't the first time Romney's tax plan has received criticism. The Washington Post's editorial board said Romney's plan gives him "little standing to criticize Mr. Obama’s fiscal shortcomings."

UPDATE: Ryan Williams, a spokesman for the Romney campaign, issued the following response to the ad:
“This is another misleading attack from a discredited ally of the President. The only candidate running who wants to raise taxes is President Obama. His plan to raise taxes on small businesses and job creators is further evidence that he has no real plan for the economy and his only solution is to raise taxes. After yet another devastating jobs report, the last thing we need is more of the same failed policies that haven’t worked. Mitt Romney wants to lower rates across the board, spur growth and investment, and get our economy back on the right track.”
