Los Ángeles, 11 Sep. (Notimex).- 3BallMTY encabezó la lista de nominados, con 12, de la segunda entrega de los Premios Billboard de la Música Mexicana, que se llevarán a cabo el 18 de octubre próximo, en el auditorio Shrine de Los Ángeles, se anunció hoy.
El trío de DJ's de música, que fusiona ritmos tribal, electrónica y cumbia, fue nominado en Artista del Año, Artista del Año-Debut, Artista del Año-Dúo o Grupo, Artista del Año-Discos, Artista del Año-Temas, Artista del Año-Descarga Digital, y Artista del Año-Duranguense/Grupero/Cumbia.
Con diversas nominaciones le siguieron Gerardo Ortiz, Espinoza Paz, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, de René Camacho, Julión Alvarez y su Norteño Banda, América Sierra, Jenni Rivera, Shaila Dúrcal, Vicente Fernández y Joan Sebastian.
Durante los Premios Billboard de la Música Mexicana los finalistas competirán en 33 categorías incluidos Artista del Año, Disco del Año, Tema del Año, Artista del Año-Debut, Artista del Año-Descarga Digital, Artista del Año-Airplay, y varias categorías de Banda, Norteño, Ranchero/Mariachi y música Duranguense/Grupero/Cumbia.
Gerardo Ortiz fue nominado en 11 categorías, entre estos Artista del Año, Artista Masculino del Año, Artista del Año-Temas, Artista del Año-Descarga Digital, Artista del Año- Discos, Artista del Año-Norteño y Compositor del Año.
Espinoza Paz también es finalista para 11 premios que incluyen Artista del Año, Artista Masculino del Año, Artista del Año-Temas, Artista del Año-Descarga Digital, Artista del Año-Discos, Artista del Año-Banda, Compositor del Año y Productor del Año.
Los álbumes “Canciones que duelen” y “Un hombre normal”, de Espinoza Paz, son finalistas para la categoría Disco del Año-Banda; mientras su canción “Para no perderte” es finalista de Tema del Año-Norteño.
La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, de René Camacho, compite por nueve premios que incluyen Artista del Año, Artista del Año-Dúo o Grupo, Artista del Año-Temas, Artista del Año-Airplay, y Artista del Año-Banda.
El disco “Irreversible... 2012” compite por la categoría de Disco del Año y Disco del Año-Banda, mientras su canción “Llamada de mi ex” es finalista por Tema del Año y Tema del Año-Banda.
Julión Alvarez y su Norteño Banda es finalista para seis premios, incluido Artista del Año-Dúo o Grupo, Artista del Año-Airplay y Artista del Año-Banda.
La canción “Olvídame” del grupo compite por la categoría Tema del Año y Tema del Año-Banda. Alvarez también es finalista como Productor del Año.
La líder en voz femenina América Sierra es cinco veces finalista, incluida la categoría de Artista Femenina del Año y Artista del Año-Debut; las otras nominaciones para finalista son por el tema “Inténtalo”, de 3BallMTY, en el cual América Sierra es presentada como vocalista con El Bebeto.
Los finalistas para cuatro premios incluyen a Jenni Rivera, Shaila Dúrcal, Vicente Fernández y Joan Sebastian, seguido por tres nominaciones a Banda El Recodo.
